Information to be given of infectious diseases

Information to be given of infectious diseases-Any person who-

1. (a) being a medical practitioner and being cognizant of the existence of any infectious or contagious diseases in any dwelling other than a public hospital, or
2. (b) being the owner or occupier of such dwelling and being cognizant of the existence of any such disease therein, or
3. (c) being the person in charge of or in attendance of any, person suffering from any such disease in such dwelling and being cognizant of the existence of the disease therein, or fails to give information forthwith to such officer as the Board direct, or give false information, respecting the existence of such disease, shall be punishable with fine which may extend to fifty rupees.
