State Government may appoint on officer to execute the works

State Government may appoint on officer to execute the works-State government may order the works specified in any scheme as aforesaid, or any portion thereof be executed by an officer to be appointed by it, and may fix the remuneration of such officer; and may specify a period within which the work shall be completed and may extend such period from time to time as may be necessary.
