Powers over disorderly house and prostitutes-

1. (1) the Board at a meeting, may by one month notice in writing prohibit in any part of the municipality-
   • (a) the keeping of brothel;
   • (b) the residence of a public prostitute.
2. (2) Whoever contravenes an order notified under sub-section (1) shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to eight days or with fine which may extend to fifty rupees and in the case of a continuing failure with an additional fine exceeding five rupees, for every day after the first in regard to which he or she is convicted of having persisted in the failure.
