Allowance of Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Commissioners

(l) The Chairman and Vice-Chairman of any municipality may, if the Board thinks fit receive such conveyance allowances out of the municipal fund as shall from time to time be fixed by the Board at a meeting. Provided the grant of such allowances to a Chairman or Vice-Chairman shall be subject to the approval of the State Government. (2) No Commissioners shall receive or be paid from the municipal fund, any salary or remuneration for services rendered by him in any capacity whatsoever but may be allowed traveling allowances when admissible.
