Amendment of memorandum and by-laws of registered society
The Chhattisgarh Societies Registraion Act, 1973(1) No amendment of the memorandum of association or by-laws of a registered society shall be valid until such amendment has been registered under this Act. (2) Every proposal for such amendment shall be forwarded to the Registrar in such form and with such fee as may be prescribed, and if the Registrar is satisfied that the amendment is not contrary to this Act or the rules made thereunder, he may, if he deems fit, register the amendment. (3) Where any amendment has been registered under sub-section (2), the Registrar shall, on payment of the fee specified in section 29, give to the society a copy of the amendment certified by him, which shall be conclusive evidence that such amendment is duly registered.
