Stay of execution of orders

Stay of execution of orders.—

1. (1) A petition for an appeal, or an application for revision or review, shall not operate as a stay of the order appealed from or under revision or review, except so far as the appellate or revisional or reviewing authority may order.
2. (2) If the appellate, revisional or reviewing authority grants a stay, it may impose such conditions, or require such security from the party applying for stay, as it thinks fit.
