Bar of revenue officer to bid etc. at sale.— No revenue officer, or any person employed in the revenue department, or in connection with the collection of land revenue, shall in his own name, or in the name of any other person, or on behalf of any other person, directly or indirectly, bid for, or purchase, or otherwise become interested in any property sold under the provisions of this Chapter.
