Arrest of defaulter to be made upon warrant

Arrest of defaulter to be made upon warrant.— An arrear of land revenue shall be deemed to be a public demand and when the Collector desires to arrest a defaulter, such arrest shall be made upon a warrant signed by the Collector or by an officer appointed by the Government in this behalf, having jurisdiction in that behalf.
