Power to transfer cases to and from subordinates

Power to transfer cases to and from subordinates.— The Collector, or any Assistant or Deputy Collector, or any Mamlatdar, may make over any individual case or such class of cases as the Government may, by general or special order, direct, to any officer subordinate to him, competent under the provisions of this Code, or any rules made thereunder, to dispose of the same: Provided that it shall be competent to the Collector, or any Assistant or Deputy Collector, subject to the control of the Collector, to withdraw any case or class of cases from any such subordinate officer and to deal with such case or class of cases himself or to refer the same for disposal to any other such officer subordinate to him.
