Responsibility for maintaining boundary marks

Responsibility for maintaining boundary marks.— Every person who holds land or is in possession thereof shall be responsible for the maintenance and good care of the boundary marks and survey marks of his holding and for any charge reasonably incurred on account of the same by the revenue officers in case of alteration, removal or disrepair.
