Establishment and incorporation of the Rashtriya Vidhi Sansthan

(1) With effect from such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint, there shall be established an Institute by the name of "Rashtriya Vidhi Sansthan Vishwavidyalaya" in the State of Madhya Pradesh. (2) The Institute shall be a body corporate by the aforesaid name, having perpetual succession and a common seal with power, subject to the provisions of this Act, to acquire and hold property and to contract, and shall, by the said name, sue or be sued. (3) All suits and other legal proceedings by or against the Institute shall be instituted, signed and verified by the Kul Sachiv or any other representative appointed by them in this behalf or by a person specifically authorised in their name and all orders in such suits and proceedings shall be issued to and served upon the Kul Sachiv. (4) The headquarters of the Institute shall be at Bhopal.
