Application of Government rules
The Chhattisgarh Gramodyog Adhiniyam, 1978The following rules shall apply to the officers and other employees of the Board with such modifications as are applicable to the Government servants of the corresponding rank in the service of the State Government, namely :- (1) Madhya Pradesh Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1977. (2) Madhya Pradesh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1965. (3) Madhya Pradesh Civil Services Medical (Medical Attendance) Rules, 1958. (4) Rules regarding grant of travelling allowance and daily allowance; (5) Madhya Pradesh Civil Services (General Conditions of Service) Rules, 1966. The officers of the Board shall be subject to the modifications as follows :- A. Madhya Pradesh Civil Services (General Conditions of Service) Rules 1961, (i) Rule 2 - (a) Clause (a) "Appointing Authority" means the Appointing Authority within the meaning of clause (a) of Rule 2 of the Madhya Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board Recruitment Rules 1978. (ii) Clause (c) Government means the Madhya Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board. (iii) Clause (e) "Post" means a post under the Board excluding full time employment but does not include where the employee is paid from the contingency fund. B. Madhya Pradesh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966 - (i) Rule 2 - (a) Clause (a) "Appointing Authority" means the Appointing Authority within the meaning of clause (a) of Rule 2 of the Madhya Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board Recruitment Rules 1978. (ii) Clause (e) - "Disciplinary Authority" means the authority competent to impose any of the penalties specified in Rule 10 on the employee of the Board. (iii) Clause (e) - "Government" means the Madhya Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board. (iv) Clause (g) - "Government Servant" means an employee of the Board. (v) Clause (h) - "Head of Department" means the Managing Director.
