Division of numbers and fixing of pote-numbers on second settlement to be lawful. The Survey officer may, on the occasion of any subsequent settlement, subject to the provisions of section 79 and under the rules made in this behalf, break up and divide a number into two or more numbers and shall fix separate assessment for each such number and enter the area of each such number and the name of the occupant in the settlement register.
