Statutory text
Distraint and sale of defaulter’s immovable property. The Collector or the Deputy or Assistant Collector may distrain the defaulter's immovable property, other than the land held by him, but where such distrain has been made by the order of the Deputy or Assistant Collector it shall not be sold except with the sanction of Collector.
