Reaping or removal of produce of land not to be prohibited for such long period as to damage produce.

The Collector shall not defer the reaping of the crop and its removal so as to damage the produce of the land and if the land revenue has not been paid within two months from the date of attachment or within such lesser time as the Collector may fix in special cases, he shaII either release the produce and adopt other measures to realise the land revenue under the provisions of this Chapter or sell such portion of the attached produce under the provisions of this Chapter relating to sale of movable property for the recovery of revenue the price of which will be sufficient for payment of revenue.
