Land Revenue Assignment

Land Revenue Assignment.—

1. (1) The Government shall pay to the Panchayat Union Council concerned and the District Panchayat concerned, an annual assignment of such portion of the Land Revenue collected in the State as may be determined by the Government, by notification.
2. (2) The Government may also pay to the Panchayat Union Council concerned and the District Panchayat concerned additional grants as they may deem fit for the purpose of carrying out the functions entrusted to the panchayats under this Act.
