Minor suffering from dangerous disease not to attend schools.–

1. (1) No person being the parent or having charge of a minor shall knowingly or negligently permit such minor to attend any school, if such minor is suffering from such dangerous disease as the Government may, by notification, specify in this behalf, unless there is a certificate, signed by a registered medical practitioner, certifying that such minor may attend without risk to others.
2. (2) Whoever contravenes the provisions of sub-section
3. (1) shall be punishable with fine which may extend to fifty rupees.
