Panchayat shall have the power to do all things necessary for the effective discharge of the duties and functions conferred upon it under this Act.

Annual Report of District Panchayat Annual Report of District Panchayat.—

1. (1) The District Panchayat shall prepare annually a report on its administration for each financial year and submit it to the Government through the Collector.
2. (2) The report shall be prepared in such form and shall contain such details as the Government may specify.
3. (3) The District Panchayat shall consider the report at one of its meetings and forward its comments, if any, to the Government along with the report.
