Power of Commissioner of Land Administration to transfer or resume control of Endowments and Inams.

1. (1) The Commissioner of Land Administration may transfer to a Village Panchayat, the management of any endowment or inam for the benefit of which any land is held, or may resume such management from the Village Panchayat.
2. (2) The Village Panchayat shall, in respect of any endowment or inam, the management of which is transferred to it under sub-section (1), perform such duties and discharge such functions as may be imposed on, or assigned to it by the Commissioner of Land Administration.
