Remuneration and allowances

74. The members of a Municipality including the members of Mayor-in-Council, Chairperson-in-Council, Chairperson-in-Nagar Committee may receive such remuneration or allowances as may be prescribed : Provided that different rates may be prescribed for different Municipalities and for different classes of functionaries in each Municipality.
