Creation of new Departments

The Board of Management may create a new Department on the recommendation of the Academic Council subject to provision of Schedule-II, permissions for new courses received under section 4 of the University Act and permissions received from Regulating Bodies, if required. The Order of creating a new department(s) shall also provide for the courses of study and degrees to be awarded.
