Conferment of Honorary Degrees

(1) There shall be a standing committee for the conferment of honorary degree consisting of the following, namely:- (i) ThePresident; (ii) The sitting or retired Judge of the Rajasthan High Court; and (iii) The Dean of the faculty concerned. (2) No honorary degree, diploma or other academic distinction shall be conferred on any person unless the proposal for the conferment thereof has been :- (a) made by the committee constituted under sub-statute (1) above; (b) passed by the Academic Council; (c) approved of by the Board of Management; and (d) confirmed by the Chairperson.
