Local authority to carry out maternity and child-welfare measures

Statutory text
- (1) Every local authority may establish maternity and child welfare centres at specified places and shall carry out such measures pertaining to maternity and child welfare as may be perscribed by the Government.
- (2) Every local authority may establish a maternity and child welfare sub-committee in the prescribed manner to which all matters relating to maternity and child welfare shall be referred.
