Appointment of agents

(1) A candidate at an election may appoint in writing in the specified form (Form 2) any person to be his election agent. (2) No person shall be appointed as election agent, who is not a member of the Gaon Sabha concerned or who is not qualified to be a candidate himself. (3) A contesting candidate may appoint any person to act as his Polling and Counting Agent at each Polling Station. The appointment shall be made by a letter. Only one Agent of each candidate shall be admitted at any one time inside the polling station.
