Conduct and Discipline

(1) Every Civil Police officer shall perform to the best of his ability the duties required from him in relation to any duty or responsibility assigned to him, subject to the provisions of this Act, rules made there under, and the lawful special standing orders of the Director General of Police. (2) Any non-performance or deficiency in the standard of performance shall make the police officer liable for disciplinary action in accordance with the conduct and disciplinary rules prescribed by the State Government for the purpose.
