Supervision of investigation

The investigation of cases taken up by the Crime Investigation Unit personnel, over and above the supervision of the Station House Officer concerned, will be supervised by an officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police, who will report directly to the District Superintendent of Police.
