Filling of casual vacancies in Kshettra Panchayat

Filling of casual vacancies in Kshettra Panchayat If a vacancy occurs by reason of death or removal, resignation or refusal or otherwise in the office of Pramukh, Up-Pramukh to take oath of an office member of the Kshettra Panchayat, it shall be filled from the date of such vacancy in the manner provided in this Act, for the residue of the term of Panchayat; Provided that if on the date of occurrence of such vacancy the residue of the term of the Panchayats is less than six months, the vacancy shall not be filledup.
