Pradhan, Up Pradhan, all officers and employees of a Gram Panchayat to be public servants

Pradhan, Up Pradhan, officer and servants, shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of the section 21 of Indian Penal Code,1860 and the word "Government" provided in section 161 of said Code shall, for the purpose of this section, be deemed to include Gram Panchayat: Provided that Public Servant shall be deemed to be a Public Servant in it’s Gram Panchayat jurisdiction Area.
