Effect of change in population or inclusion of the area of Gram Panchayat in Nagar Palika, etc. If the whole of the area of a Gram Panchayat is included in a Nagar Nigam, Nagar Palika, Nagar Panchayat, cantonment, notified area or town area, the Gram Panchayat shall cease, and its assets and liabilities shall be disposed of in the manner prescribed. If a part of such area is so included, its jurisdiction shall be reduced by that part and shall automatically not be in the jurisdiction of Kshettra Panchayat or Zila Panchayat.
