Repeal

(1) The Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1947 and the Uttar Pradesh Kshettra Panchayat and Zila Panchayat Act, 1961 (as applicable in Uttrakhand State) is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said enactment shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
