Representations and recommendations by Gram Panchayats A Gram Panchayat may make to the appropiate authority -(a) any representation concerning the welfare of the persons residing within its jurisdiction, and (b) any recommendations as to the appointment, transfer or dismissal of an employee of all Department, serving in any area within the jurisdiction of such Gram Panchayat.
