Powers of Panchayats to co-operate with other authorities and to assist institutions not managed by it The Panchayats may, subject to any rules made in this behalf- (a) unite with any other' Panchayats as the case may be, or other local authority in works or undertakings which benefit all the areas controlled by it and such authority; (b) Contribute in such work or institution, which benefits block or district, in spite of the work done outside the block or district, whether institution is reserved outside the block or district or it is within the area of any Nagar Nigam, Nagar Palika Parished, Nagar Panchayat, Cantonment Board, notified area, town area.
