This Act provides for municipal corporations in the larger cities of Madhya Pradesh. It covers how corporations are constituted, wards, reservation of seats, elections, the Mayor and committees, and the Commissioner. It sets out municipal functions, property, taxes and finances, and the regulation of buildings, streets, sanitation and public health.
