Resignation by Vice-Chairman or member
The Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Act 1972(1) Any person holding the office of Vice-Chairman or member may at any time resign by addressing the Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Agriculture Department, in writing, and his office shall become vacant on the expiry of fifteen full days from the date of such resignation, provided he has not withdrawn the resignation in writing within that fifteen-day period. (2) In the event of death, resignation, disqualification or removal of the Vice-Chairman or any member of the Board before the expiry of his term, it shall be deemed a casual vacancy and such vacancy shall be filled as soon as possible by nomination by the State Government. The person so nominated shall hold office for the remaining term of his predecessor.
