Term of office of Vice-Chairman and members
The Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Act 1972(1) Save as otherwise provided by or under this Act, the Vice-Chairman or any member other than an ex-officio member of the Board shall hold office for a period of three years from the date of his nomination: Provided that the Vice-Chairman or any member shall continue to hold office on expiration of his term until his successor takes office. (2) The term of office of a member of the Board shall expire immediately upon his ceasing to hold the office by virtue of which he was nominated. (3) If the State Government thinks fit, it may remove any member of the Board before the expiry of his term, but before doing so, it shall give him a reasonable opportunity to show cause against his removal.
