Powers of University to require affiliated Colleges to take adequate action.—

1. (1) The University may require any affiliated college to take such action as it may consider necessary in respect of any of the following matters:—
   • (a) adequacy of the financial resources of the college;
   • (b) standard of teaching and maintenance of discipline and order among the students;
   • (c) appointment of qualified teaching staff and maintenance of record of their service;
   • (d) management of the college;
   • (e) conditions of appointments and service of the members of the staff;
   • (f) such other matters as may be prescribed by the Statutes or Ordinances.
2. (2) If the college fails to take the action required by the University within a reasonable time, the University may, after considering the explanation, if any, furnished by the college, take such action as it deems fit, including withdrawal of affiliation of the college or suspension of the college from the privileges of the University.
