Sanction and limitation for prosecution

76. No prosecution for an offence under this Act or any rules or by-laws made in pursuace thereof shall be instituted without the order or consent of the Corporation and no such prosecution shall be instituted except within six months next after the commission of the offence, unless the offence is of continuous in its nature, in which case of prosecution may be instituted within six months of the date on which the commission or existence of the offence was first brought to the notice of the Chairman.
