Amendment and alteration of lists and reduction or remission of rates

33. The Corporation at a meeting may for good and sufficient reasons recorded in writing, at any time, direct alteration or amendment of the assessment list by revaluing or re-assessing any building. (2) The Corporation at a meeting may reduce or remit the amount payable as rate or rates on account of any holding. If it is satisfied that the levy of such rate or rates would be productive of excessive hardship to the person liable to pay the same.
