Corporation to provide water supply and Lighting

(1) It shall be lawful for the Corporation— (a) to provide a sufficient supply of water for the domestic use of the inhabitants; (b) to cause the public streets to be sufficiently lighted. (2) If a water-rate has been imposed under Section 28, the Corporation shall provide a sufficient supply of water for the domestic use of the inhabitants; If lighting-rate has been imposed under section 28, the Corporation shall cause the public streets to be sufficiently lighted.
