Power to divide Corporation into Wards and fix the number of Councillors of each Ward

The State Government may, by notification, divide the Corporation into Wards and for the purpose of the election of the Councillors determine the number of Councillors to be elected from each such Ward. In the principal Act, in section 9, in sub-section (3), for the words "more than three hundred Rupees", the words "more than eight hundred rupees" shall be substituted.
