Notice of meeting and list of business and minutes of proceedings
The Gangtok Municipal Corporation Act, 1975(1) A list of the business to be transacted at a meeting and, in the case of meeting called on a requisition, the terms of the requisition, shall be sent to every Councillor at least three days before the date appointed for the meeting and no business of which such notice has not been given shall be brought forward at a meeting. (2) Minutes of the proceedings of all meetings of the Corporation, in which shall be recorded interalia the names of all the Councillors present, and the person presiding, shall be entered into a book to be kept for the purpose and shall be signed by the person presiding over the meeting and such book shall be open to inspection of the tax-payers. (3) The minutes shall be laid before the next meeting of the Corporation for confirmation and shall be also signed by the person presiding at such meeting.
