Penalty for contravention of provision of section 33.

(1) If any officer or member of the Board or a market committee when required to furnish information in regard to the affairs or proceeding of the Board or a market committee under section 33 - (a) wilfully neglects or refuses to furnish any information; or (b) wilfully furnishes false information; he shall, on conviction, be punishable with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees.
