Penalty for contravention of section 31.

(1) Whoever makes or recovers any trade allowance in contravention of the rules or bye-laws made under this Act shall, on conviction, be punishable with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees. (2) All fines and damages recovered from an offender shall be paid to the fund of the market committee concerned.
