In every such case the corpse shall be disposed, so far as may be possible, in a manner consistent with the religious tenets of the deceased.

Power to provide for burial or paupers free of charge :- The municipality may, from time to time out of the Municipal Fund, provide for the burial and burning of paupers free of charge within the limits of the municipality.
