Power to make rules

Power to make rules.-(1) The Government may by notification in the Official Gazette make rules1 for carrying out the purposes ofthis Act.

1. (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for :-
   • (a) the maintenance of registers, books and forms by hotel-keeper or travel agent for conduct of business ;
   • (b) the form of application for registration and for certificate of registra- tion ;
   • (c) the fee for registration;
   • (d) the manner of giving notices under this Act;
   • (e) manner of publicatiop of the names and addresses of the persons re- moved from the register or to whom registraticn has been rehsed;
   • (f) classification of hotels and travel agents;
   • (g) the place where the prescribed authorityshall hold enquiry under this Act;
   • (h) all matters expressly required to he prescribed under this Act.
2. (3) All rules made under this section shall be subject to the conditicn of previous publication.

(4) Every rule made under this section shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before the Himachal Pradesh Lcgislative Assembly while it is in session and if, before the expiry of the ses: ic n in which it is so laid or the session immediately following, the House makes any modification in the rule or decides that the rule should pot be made, the rule shall thereafter have effect only in such modified form or be of no eRect, as the case may be, so, however, that any such modification or pnnulment shall be without prejudice to the validity ofanything previously done under that rule.
