Powers of the Government to apply Act to other persons,-The Government may by notification in the Official Gazette direct that all or any of the provisions of this Act or of the rules made thereunder shall, ~vith such exceptions, adaptations or modifications as may be considered necessary, apply to persons doing the business in a tourist area of letting or plying for hire House- boats, Dongas, Bathing-boats, Shikaras, Automobile vehicles, Tongas, Dandis, Ponies or to such other persons as may be specifiedin the notification. Then pres- cribed authority may fix therates to be charged for theserviccs to be rendered.
