Punishment for keeping certain dangerous articles without licence in prohibited areas

Whoever contravenes

6[clause (a) (i)] of sub-section (1) of section 394 or section 394 A shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years and with fine which may extend to two thousand rupees :

Provided that in the absence of special and adequate reasons to the contrary mentioned in the judgement of the Court, such imprisonment shall not be less than six months and such fine shall not be less than one thousand rupees].
