7[Officers of the Brihan Mumbai Electric Supply and Transport Undertaking].— The

8[Officers of the Brihan Mumbai Electric Supply and Transport Undertaking] shall not sign any cheque under section 460BB without first satisfying themselves that the sum for which such cheque is drawn is either covered by a budget-grant as aforesaid or is an item one of the excepted descriptions specified in the proviso to sub-section (1) of section 460DD.
