Commissioner may execute certain works under this Chapter without allowing option to person concerned of executing the same

(1) The Commissioner may, if he thinks fit, cause any work described in

3[this Chapter] to be executed by municipal or other agency under his own orders,

without first of all giving the person by whom the same would otherwise have to be executed the opinion of doing the same.

1. (2) Expenses in such cases by whom to be paid.— The expenses of any work so done shall be paid by the person aforesaid, unless the corporation shall, by a general or special order or resolution sanction, as they are hereby empowered to sanction, the execution of such work at the charge of the municipal fund.
