Steering Committee STEERING COMMITTEE.—

  1. (1) In every Municipality there shall be a Steering Committee consisting of the Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, and Chairmen of Standing Committees and Chairperson shall be the Chairman of the said Committee.
  2. (2) Steering Committee shall,—
    • (a) co-ordinate and monitor the functioning of the Standing Committees;
    • (b) [xxx]
    • (c) discharge the powers and functions entrusted to it by the Council.
